Pentecost 2023

May 28
Pentecost by Pastor Nathan Schultz

Today we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit and birth of the Church at Pentecost. While the work of the Holy Spirit is often thought of as mysterious and unpredictable, his work is always to empower the saints and point to Jesus.

“I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.” – Apostles Creed – 3rd Article

Today we also celebrate Memorial Day and give thanks to God for those men and women who have given their lives in service to our country.

Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-21; John 7:37-39
