Little Antioch: Empowered by Pastor Paul Dickerson

As we turn towards the next generation of ministry for Christ Memorial and the future of Loved+Sent, we are taking a look at the ancient city of Antioch and asking the questions: What does the first century church in Antioch have to say to us today? In that same spirit, could we be a Little Antioch?

Today we consider our value of Empowered. We seek to empower God’s people to fill an active role in the ongoing mission of The Church. And in the city of Antioch we seek that being empowered is a prerequisite to being sent. 

“So Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people.” Acts 11:25-26
